La Jolla Surf Lessons

Location

It is true; every inch of San Diego coastline has its own beauty and has also been chosen by generations of surfers as one of their favorite spots to catch the waves. Therefore, La Jolla is no different. The sandy beach located just centrally of San Diego is one of the most beautiful and fun places to be. So if fun is what you are looking for, our surf school is the right choice to go! You won’t regret to combine surf lessons, La Jolla’s best outdoor activities and an incredible sunset!

The large range of activities makes it the perfect plan to spend the day out exploring and learn to surf, all in one. The grassy area and picnic tables are perfect to rest and relax after your 90 minutes surf lesson session. To continue playing around, kayaking, boating, and scuba diving are some of the go-to options for a day full of action. Downtown La Jolla is only five minutes walk from the shores and there you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, and more entertainment.

Parking

Although La Jolla Shores offers a large parking lot and free parking on adjacent residential streets, in the summertime, finding a spot can still be a hard task. A little extra planning can go a long way toward finding a good parking space to get on time for this amazing surf camp experience!
To make your experience and your day even more pleasant, don’t forget:
Towel, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a bottle of water, a warm sweater and to wear your swimsuit beneath your clothing.

What should I bring to a surf lesson?

Please bring lots of energy and a big smile a positive attitude and our qualified professional instructors will take care of the rest ! You should come with your swim suit/trunks beneath your clothing and be sure to apply waterproof sunscreen 30 minutes prior to the start of your Surf lesson.
